Swim Spa Disposal in Burnley Lancashire
10th July 2025 – Today we carried out a Swim Spa Disposal in Burnley Lancashire.
Customer Rebecca contacted us to help her have her swim spa removed from the rear of the property. The swim spa had been sunk into a pit which always makes the task challenging as getting under the spa with lift slings proves challenging.
Customer supplied videos showed there was no access from the front of the property due to the reach needed by a crane so we looked at other options using the field behind the house. The customer helped us by seeking permission from the landowner so we looked into this. It would mean driving the crane through the field and siting relatively close to the spa.
The next complication was powerlines. There were 2 powerlines running quite close to where the crane would need to operate so we carried out some measurements with the customer and the crane owner to ascertain how much room we had to work with safely. Once all were satisfied, we agreed to go ahead.
On arrival on site, the field was accessed and we set to work getting slings under the swim spa.
The swim spa was removed slowly and swung away from the powerlines and out onto our trailer for transport away.
