Swim Spa Removal With Crane
Well, this one took some organizing. Removal of a 6 metre, 1.2 ton dual zone hot tub/swim spa combination from a property in the North East.
Located in a property in Bishop Auckland, the Swim spa had originally been installed with a crane due to the access restrictions. That meant the only way out was with a crane also!
The reach required meant a very large crane was needed so a road closure was needed to allow the crane to be cited on the road. We worked with the highways department of Durham County Council to organise a road closure which would have minimum impact on the local residents and the local school.
So a Sunday morning 8am lift was planned to remove this massive spa.
Council approved traffic management contractors closed the road and Richard setup his 100ton crane ready to lift out.
We assisted with preparing the spa for lift with slings and straps to allow the crane to lift from.
Up and out and onto our 6 metre trailer in 15 mins.
